Quick post here, today was Keir's swim meet here in Manotick. This is the second year he has done swim team @ Manotick and every summer they have a swim meet. The swim team is called the Manotick Marlins. Keir swims in the 6 and under catagory, which is an advantage to him as he is probably one of the older 6 year olds on his team. Keir has really enjoyed swim team this year and swimming in general (we have been at the pool a lot this summer).
Keir swam in the 25m freestyle, 25m backstroke, and the 25m breaststroke and he did really well (1st, 2nd, and 1st), he also won a medal for best 6year old swimmer! He was pretty happy, but most importantly he really enjoyed himself.

Wow, like father like son! Your little athlete looks like he's ready to start his Ironman any minute.
Hope we can see you guys at the cottage this summer and Keir can encourage the twins with their swimming. We've just had two solid weeks of swimming lessons and have one more to go before we hit the lake and so far they really seem to like it. But I think seeing a "big boy" like Keir swimming will just make them want to learn to swim even more!
