The supper on Saturday night of of trip down to Toronto.
We had a great time, and hopefully we will be back when the kids are a little older, as there is so much to do.

Keir had a Chocolate milkshake with his supper. Keir had a great trip, he wasn't supper thrilled with the museum, I think his favourite part of the weekend was he got to see a subway train, a street car train, and all sorts of other trains(on the way into Toronto) in Toronto.

Watching an performance on the ground floor. They were just about to have a old fashion sword fight, with Knights and armor etc
TO_08_06
On Saturday, we had a nice breakfast and the walked up to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). It is an interesting building that has a very modern addition to an very old traditional "museum type" building.

We got down to Toronto on Friday afternoon, explored the hotel a bit had some supper then it was time for Isla's bath.
After Isla's bath Keir and I went for a swim at the hotel pool. They have a a slide at the pool. It was called the "Corkscrew" :-)
You had to pass a swimming test to go down the slide, which Keir did. then it was up the Four stories to the top of the slide.
I had to go first so I could wait for Keir a the bottom. Now when they called it the "Corkscrew" they were spot on. You go down on the pitch black and spiraling down.
Keir made it down but he wasn't too impressed with the dark and corkscrewing, so we didn't do it again.

On the trip down to Toronto (at one of the many stops on the hwy 401). I think I was caught in the middle of saying "cheese" for the camera, but the kids look good...

A cute picture of Isla sleeping, you can't see it very well but she is holding the hand of her little glow bug.

Snowbanks_08
More snow! The snowbanks in the driveway are far to tall. I have a hard time shoveling the snow to the top now. The most recent snow was a big storm, 51cm of snow fell on the weekend of the storm.

We have had the second most amount of snow on record this year. Close to 6 feet of the stuff! Here is what our back yard looks like. That is our fence buried!
